Inspired by Rene Aubry’s ‘Refuges’, the sound track to our
project, our work conveys the concept of synesthesia - the ability to
simultaneously perceive sounds as visual stimuli.
With light and sound we personify the olive trees and bring their stories to light as characters seek refuge from their own personal struggles.
Dialogues is created to form connections between each other and themselves and although the characters emerge as separate beings, they are all unified under the refuge of Mother Nature.
